On Sunday, January 11, 2026, thousands of New Yorkers joined the national "ICE Out For Good" weekend of action, hitting the streets of Midtown Manhattan. The rally and march was organized in response to the murder of 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good by ICE agent Jonathan Ross in Minneapolis last week.
The march began at 60th street and Firth Avenue and moved down Fifth Avenue, effectively shutting it down, and ended in Times Square. Protesters called for Jonathan Ross to be held accountable for his actions and the immediate removal of federal agents from local communities.
The event was part of a larger wave of over 1,000 events nationwide, fueled by growing outrage over the Trump administration's aggressive immigration enforcement and recent military actions in Venezuela.
